Workshop: Demoscene documentary series

The Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) will create a documentary series about demoscene. The documentary will be planned at the Nebula Club on Saturday at 14. Welcome to discuss and decide how the demoscene should be documented!

Metapat aka Patrick Bissinger  from Demoscene.tv will start the session by telling his ideas of documenting the scene. After Patrick we will start working on the subject:
- How should the story of Demoscene be told to the audience that still lives outside the scene?
- Who are the most important people in the scene and which demos and turning points should be covered?

If you have an opinion or a killer story, please come and participate! The workshop will be filmed and the material will be used in the document, that will be published mainly on Youtube during 2010.

SceneCon demoparty live on DTV

Follow the SceneCon demoparty in Budapest (Hungary) live on DTV, with the stream set up by SceneCon organizers.
We are proud to take part of SceneCon for the second time. By providing streaming access we give people the chance attend this party in a virtual sense.

Realtime Generation festival in Vienna

The DTV team will be present in Vienna (Austria) for the Realtime Generation festival. We will cover the "International Celebrate the Scene Demoparty" on the 18th to 20th of July.
DTV will release a report about this demoscene weekend as well.
We to see a lot of demomakers there - the DTV team is looking forward to "Celebrate the Scene" with you!

DTV team at Assembly

The DTV team will travel to Helsinki (Finland) and join the demoscene festival there.
This year, the DTV program includes: the release of short reports during the party, broadcast of Assembly TV on the DTV website, broadcast of compos on DTV.

Another yearly tradition for DTV is to attend the Buenzli demoparty in Winterthur (Switzerland), and this year is no exception!

NVScene demoparty

Confirmed! DTV will be present at the NVScene demoparty in San Jose, California - special thanks to NVIDIA for making this possible!
The DTV team is going to make short "snapshot" reports, available on the DTV website during the event! Live streaming possibilities are not yet for sure, but we are working on it. NVScene compos will also be available on DTV.
"Cyber-attend" the biggest demo party of its kind in the US, on DTV - from the 25th to the 27th of August!

The new version of the demoscene.tv website has been a success - with 3 times as many video-on-demand streams and over 60.000 video views in one month!
